The Twitter war between the celebrities Kangana Ranaut and Diljit Dosanjh was on the very peak in the past few days. It was also one of the Twitter Trends on saturday. Hashtags like #DiljitDestroysKangana and #DiljitVsKangana have been trending on every social media platform since the two actors involved in an ugly fight.
On Thursday, Diljit corrected Kangana for misidentifying a Sikh woman and referring to her as “available in Rs 100”. She misidentified her to be Bilkis Bano from the protests of Shaheen Bagh. The actor also shared a video of the lady clarifying that she is with the farmers not for money and also asked Kangana to come and see what farmers daily face.
Thereafter, the tweets and retweets of various actors from Bollywood as well as Punjab industry filled the trending section. Kangana is known for her straightforward speech. But it seems Kangana could not stand replies from the Udta Punjab actor Diljit Dosanjh.
Various people from the Punjab industry including Gippy Grewal, Mika Singh, Honey Singh, Sargun Mehta also tweeted in favour of Diljit and the farmers who have been protesting on the borders for their rights.
