30% Bad For Corona Patients in Private hospitals – Rajasthan Government

Instructions to private hospitals to keep 30% of their bed capacity for bad corona infected patients.
Private hospitals of 80 or more bed capacity serving at the district headquarters of Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota and Udaipur will have to keep 30% of the reserves for bad corona infected.

The state’s Ministry of Medical and Health has directed the private hospitals serving the district headquarters of Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, Ajmer and Bikaner to keep 30% of their bed capacity in reserve for bad corona infected patients.

All such private hospitals corona infected patients will have to be treated in a separate ward in the hospital premises, following the Covid-19 protocol.

According to the Medical and Health Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma, the role of government and private hospitals working in the state has been commendable during the coronary period. Nevertheless, there are many large private hospitals where the corona infected patients are not being treated.

In such a situation, private hospitals of 80 or more beds capacity serving at the district headquarters of Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota and Udaipur will have to reserve 30% of the bad corona infected. At the same time, private hospitals of more than 60 bed capacity in Ajmer and Bikaner district headquarters will also be mandatory to keep 30% of bed corona patients.

As per the order, all the private hospital corona infected patients will have to be treated in a separate ward in the hospital premises following the Kovid-19 protocol. Infected patients will be treated as per the rates notified by the department on 3 September 2020.

In this context, the Medical Department has issued instructions for private hospitals on Friday.
