Covid 19 positive Kiran Maheshwari left the world on Sunday in Medanta Hospital. 59 years old Kiran Maheshwari, who was an MLA from Rajsamand was infected with Covid19. She was under treatment in the Medanta hospital, where she took her las breath.
She belonged to the Bharatiya Janata Party. She had served previously as a member of parliament in the 14th Lok Sabha where she represented the Udaipur constituency. After losing the 15th Lok Sabha elections, she then contested the assembly elections from Rajsamand and won by a margin of 30,000 votes. (Source: Wikipedia)
The members of the family say that her body will be brought from the flight and the death proceedings will be carried out following the Corona protocol.
She was infected when she was in Kota during elections. Her death brought sadness among the party members and the people of Udaipur and Rajsamand.
