Ras Pushtax Mittal has also got bail after ras Pinky Meena, who sought bribes. On Thursday, the Jaipur Bench of the Rajasthan High Court pronounced the verdict. The ACB had submitted the charge sheet, on that basis, bail was sought. Pinky Meena was also made the base in the court. Said, “When Pinky Meena can get bail in the same allegation, why not Pushtax Mittal.” While the accused is jailed for two months.
During the Bharat Mala project in Dausa, a bribe of Rs 5 lakh was arrested from the highway-making company, red-handed RAS Pushtax Mittal. Justice Inderjit Singh decides to grant bail. The state government had suspended RAS Pushtax Mittal.
Pushtax Mittal was arrested by the ACB on January 13 while Dausa SDM. He was jailed for the last two and a half months. The ACB court had rejected Pushtax Mittal’s bail. Thereafter, Pushtax Mittal had earlier filed a bail plea in the High Court. But, he withdrew. In the same case, RAS Pinky Meena, who sought a bribe of Rs 10 lakh, was released from judicial custody on bail by the High Court a few days ago. He was tracked by the ACB while he was Bandikui SDM.
Ips Manish Agarwal, Dalal Neeraj Meena and Gopal Singh, who were arrested on January 23 in connection with a bribe of lakhs of rupees from the same highway-making company, are still in jail. The ACB has already submitted an invoice to the court against all these. Pushtax Mittal was jailed in the case. They did not even get interim bail. IPS Manish Agarwal has come out of jail for his sister’s wedding and RAS Pinky Meena with an interim bail of 10-10 days for his wedding.
