Rs 25000 penalty for breaking new guidelines

The Ashok Gehlot government re-imposed the maximum limit of 100 members in a family gathering after seeing the increasing impact of Covid. In a meeting held recently, he also said that the police officials must take rounds in the city to ensure that the guidelines are strictly followed.

District collectors, police superintendents, and other senior official have given the responsibility to ensure the night curfew protocols are followed and no gathering exceeds the limit of 100 members.

The penalty in case of breach of any guidelines has been increased to Rs 25000 that was earlier Rs 10000. This was decided as a result of a spike in the number of positive Covid patients in a single day.
