American electric car giant Tesla’s manufacturing unit in India will be set up in Karnataka, the chief minister said in a statement. He made the announcement in a state the appreciated benefits Karnataka
He also said an industrial corridor will be set up in Tumkur district, neighboring Bengaluru, at a cost of Rs 7,725 crore.
The American electric car maker owned by Elon Musk entered India on January 8 with its registered as a company in Bengaluru. Tesla has set up a research and development unit in the city.
