Rajasthan has crossed its target of planting 10 crore saplings ahead of schedule under the Hariyalo Rajasthan campaign, according to reporting published on September 17.
The Hindu reported that the campaign includes a one-district-one-species programme and anti-desertification efforts in Barmer and Jaisalmer. Zee News reported that the state plantation portal recorded 10,10,66,212 saplings by September 15.
