Affiliate Marketing is a marketing in which we earn commission by selling other company’s product. You find a product and promote to your audience and earn a piece of profit for each product you sell.
It’s based on revenue sharing, If you have a product and want to sell more and more you can promote a financial incentive through affiliate marketing. If you have no product, then you can promote other’s product and the product who has more value or you think you can sell more.
There are 4 parties in Afiliate Marketing
THE MERCHANT
The merchant is the creator, the brand, the retailer or who wants to sell their product. It’s the party who make the product. The merchant can be big company or small company or any vendor.
THE AFFILIATE
This party is the Publisher. The affiliate can also be small company or a big company. It’s the position where marketing happens. The affiliate try to convince the customer why should they buy their products.
THE CONSUMER
The consumer is the one who buys the product from the affiliate. Without sales, there aren’t any commissions to hand out and no revenue to be shared.
The affiliate will try to sell their product at any cost at any platform. Weather its a social media platform, digital platform or any other platform.
THE NETWORK
Only some consider the network part of the affiliate marketing equation. But, the affiliate marketing should include networks, because the network is really important between the affiliate and the merchant.
